Warwick trip
Last weekend i went to Warkwick Castle. I specially recommend the "Warwick alive " which is a ghost house for visitors. It's very interesting. The campus of the university of Warwick is incredibly big, u have to walk for 30 mins to restuarant. Anway, if you have a plan to go there, never miss the Warwick Castle.

two-days trip in Manchester & York
Last weekend, My friends and me went to Manchester to see “ Gay Pride” which is held every year. Manchester is very famous for their gay & lesiban village. It's very fantastic!!!
Plus, we also visited York which is a city you must to go in the UK. You can visit “ Diagon Alley” of the movie “ Harry Potter” in York. York Castle and the National Railway Museum are also worth to come. At night, you can go to any of the fashionable restaurants for your dinner, drinking beer, talking with your friends and enjoying the night scene. It only takes about 3-4 hours to York.
What are you waiting for? Enjoy your life!!!

Re: Who said men can't cook?!
Hi there,
Us teachers got together at the weekend and cooked some food. Can you guess which dish Tom made? I'll give you a clue: it's kind of an orangy-red colour and comes from Thailand! I know Nat can, but can anyone else tell me what it's called in English or Thai?

We all had a great time chatting (not about our students of course!) and sharing our travel experiences. This year, INTO has collected teachers from countries as far as Thailand, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, and many other places. INTO has become truly cosmopolitan with a really eclectic mix of people. (First person to tell me what 'eclectic' means gets...gets...a chance to sing 'New York, New York' in front of the class! Any takers?)

Group 'O' Get-together
Hi guys and girls,
as we are all going to be very busy within the next few weeks, I just wanted to mention the fact that there is money available for every student to spend on some kind of group outing or activity. The people at INTO have very kindly made ₤10 available for every student to spend while they are on the Pre-sessional course here.
With that in mind, I would like you all to consider what activity you would like to do. Here are some possible examples of potential activities, and I hope you will all think about some of your own suggestions:

With that in mind, I would like you all to consider what activity you would like to do. Here are some possible examples of potential activities, and I hope you will all think about some of your own suggestions:
- a boat trip on a barge along the Norfolk Broads followed by a picnic (if the weather is good)
- a visit to a historic place in Norfolk or surrounding area e.g. Ely cathedral.
- a visit to a bowling alley.
- a visit to a pub near the river in Norwich.
- a visit to an outdoor market.
- a party in a room on campus which can be booked in advance.
I am open to any suggestions, so I hope you will all think about this and post your suggestions on this board. We could also join another group and have an even bigger activity. Do let me know what you think is a good suggestion.

Happy birthday to you and me!

Hello everyone
I'm Angie!
I'm waiting for Monday now! It's the first time I have my birthday without my parents, and it's also the first time I share the birthday with so many good friends! I feel very happy and a little excited. I just can remember the first day I came to this university, everything is unfamiliar to me, I can do nothing but follow the other guys. During these days, I've grown up a lot, and I can live independent now!
Thanks for your help, especially the help form Catherine and Palm. You've given me a lot of warmth, and I'm not afraid of being alone in a foreign country! My birthday is coming, I'm becoming one year's older. I'll try my best to live happy and healthy, not only for myself, but also for you-my dear friends!
Happy birthday to YOKO and BERK!
Happy birthday to YOYO HUI(Angie)!
